THIS IS MY MOMENT: Decolonize now!

This year as part of African Encounters, we are showing four films on European colonial history and decolonization under the motto THIS IS MY MOMENT: Decolonize now! Just like history, the films move between Africa and Europe and are set in Tanzania, Germany, Cameroon, Belgium and Eritrea. Three directors from Kenya and Tanzania, and three directors from Germany and Belgium will present the international co-productions at DOK.fest München. In film talks and a panel discussion, we want to enter into a decolonial dialog between Africa and Europe with them and the Munich audience.
