DOK.aroundtheclock – year-round events
After the festival is before the festival – and in the middle of the documentary film year. Every season, DOK.aroundtheclock presents current documentary highlights in our Munich partner cinemas and as guests of our numerous other cultural partners.
Since November 2022 you can enjoy festival highlights online at DOK.fest @home Selection in our new online film library directly on the DOK.fest homepage.
With the exception of the workshops for children and young people (DOK.education), all events of DOK.aroundtheclock are approved for audiences aged 18 and over.

FLOTEL EUROPA
(Dänemark, Serbien 2015, Vladimir Tomic, DOK.panorama). FLOTEL EUROPA was a container ship that accommodated hundreds of war refugees from Sarajevo in Copenhagen in 1992. For Vladimir, his mother and older brother, it was their new home, too. A touching portrait of a refugee and, at the same time, an amusing coming of age story in VHS images. – Admission: 8,00 euros, red. 6,00 euros

WILD PLANTS
(Deutschland, Schweiz 2016, Nicolas Humbert, DOK.international Main Competition). The camera captures faces and hands that dig in the dirt. Crickets chirp, birds sing and grasses rustle in the wind. In vast landscapes and miniscule details, the urban gardening trend is revealed to be a synesthetic, spiritual and holistic experience. – Admission: 14,00 euros, red. 8,00 euros
