Yango González

Yango González studied film directing at the Politécnico Grancolombiano in Colombia and at the FAAP in Brazil. He is currently studying for a master's degree in montage at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, in Germany. He is particularly interested in intercultural, social, political, and philosophical topics. He started out doing fiction films like two award-winning collaborative feature-length films with numerous directors from around the world: "The Owner" and "Train Station". Over time he moved more towards documentaries and essay films like "In praise of Freedom", where he discovered a style that he develops nowadays also in installation forms.
