DOK.FEST 2007 – The Programme
The 22nd Munich International Documentary Film Festival took place from 2nd to 10th May, 2007. It presented 76 films, most of them long feature creative documentaries. With 110 screeenings, panels and events and 13,000 visitors, DOK.FEST 2007 was the most successful festival ever.
DOK.FEST 2006 - The Winners
The Awards DOK.PRIZE – THE BAYERISCHER RUNDFUNK AND TELEPOOL DOCUMENTARY PRIZE (10,000 EUR), Bayerische Landeszentrale für Neue Medien (BLM) awards the prize for THE SPECIAL DOCUMENTARY (2,500 EUR), DOK.FEST awards the HORIZONS prize (3,000 EUR), FilmFernsehFonds Bayern awards the PRIZE IN SUPPORT OF DOCUMENTARY FILM FROM THE FILMFERNSEHFONDS BAYERN (5,000 EUR)and the AVID branch in Munich donates with its AVID-SUPPORT PRIZE an AVID Xpress Pro HD package.
DOK.FEST 2006
Munich is at the heart of the artistic documentary. In May, this heart is going to beat faster: it is DOK.FEST time. The 21st Munich International Documentary Film Festival will take place from Wednesday 3rd to Thursday 11th May, 2006.
DOK.FEST 2005 - The Awards
The DOK.FEST 2005 jurys awarded the following prizes: International Competition, the Documentary Film Award Bavarian Television (BR) and the festival’s award for the Special Documentary, The festival's award Horizonte, The FilmFernsehFonds sponsorship prize 2004 and the AVID Talent Award, both for new films from Bavaria.
