With 131 films from 43 countries, Q&As and live events, DOK.fest Munich 2021 @home celebrates great documentary cinema even if this year it's once again in front of your screen at home. In our programme overview you can select films, pay online and watch them.

Single tickets

Tickets can be purchased directly via the respective film in our programme overview. Registration is not necessary. With your purchase you will receive a ticket ID. With this you can watch the film at any time during the entire festival period. After starting the film for the first time, it will be available to you for 48 hours.

Festival pass

Please note that the film programme is only available throughout Germany.

 

Youth rating

Please note that with the exception of DOK.education and DOK.4teens, our films are only accessible from the age of 18. This is for formal reasons. As the films in our programme have not yet had a theatrical release in Germany, the youth rating has not yet been determined. 

 

 

DOK.4teens

DOK.education

School classes are invited to experience the cultural education trip to the film festival online this year, free of charge and as a video seminar. For young people and children, there are workshops and film programmes. To the DOK.education programme

DOK.forum Industry

Once again this year, the numerous workshops, pitchings and discussion rounds will take place digitally. The industry platform enables a lively exchange of (inter)national guests and filmmakers. To the DOK.forum programme

Accreditation Professionals

This year we are offering two types of accreditation for filmmakers and industry visitors:

  • Professionals including film programme (the entire film programme of DOK.fest München and the industry programme of DOK.forum Perspectives)
  • Professionals without film programme (free accreditation exclusively for the industry programme of DOK.forum Perspectives)

Free tickets for KulturRaum München guests

People from Munich on low incomes can contact our partner KulturRaum München e.V. for free tickets. If you live in the Munich S-Bahn area and have a low income, you can find out how to register here.
