DOK.stories – Memories and greetings for the 40th anniversary
Since 1985, our team has brought thousands of documentary films into the programme. At every festival, Munich audiences mingle with numerous filmmakers, protagonists, and journalists. Wherever people come together to watch films, they share in the excitement, laughter, and wonder – and then go on to discuss, celebrate, or debate what they’ve seen. Friendships are formed within the familiar pull of the festival; trends come and go.
Audiences discover favourite films and find inspiration for everyday life – and sometimes even for their next film project.
