In red and pink with lace and glitter, the “Heaven Can Wait” choir is the antithesis of elderly beige. It is a community of people who summon up the courage in later life to stand up in front of an audience and bear their souls. The film brings us close to some of these remarkable people. Biography
Sven Halfar first studied business administration for a few semesters before studying film at the Hamburg Film Academy. In 2000 he founded the production company Glücksfilm. Afterwards, he devoted himself exclusively to his passion of realising films as a director and author. Music is an important aspect of his work.
