Laurin Merz

Laurin Merz, born 1975 in Aarau, Switzerland. Proprietor and founder of the award-winning production company HOOK Film (since 2006), based in Zurich. After studying film-studies and publishing at the universities of Berne and Zurich, he graduated 2007 in the Video specialization at Lucerne School of Art and Design. Starting in 1996, he worked as an editor for the Swiss Radio and as a editor for Swiss television. Later he became an independent filmmaker.
