Anke Petersen

Anke Petersen worked as a producer for commercials and branded content as an integral part of Tony Petersen Film for over 15 years before producing her first documentary for arte in 2012. The following year she founded Jyoti Film. JYOTI means LIGHT in the Hindi language. With the films she develops and produces together with her business partner Anna Chester (née Bolster), they aim to bring light to untold stories. They both love to co-produce with partners from all over the world. Through the breadth of their projects, JYOTI Film seeks to bring new perspectives to internationally relevant issues, inspire their audiences and increase understanding of the unknown. Stories by and about women are particularly close to her heart. Anke is an alumna of the Documentary Campus and certified Green Consultant
