Chiara Sambuchi

Chiara Sambuchi, born in Pesaro, Italy, studied Philosophy and classical guitar and worked as a producer for RAI’s Berlin office. She went on to direct documentaries and reportages for European broadcasters such as ARD, ARTE, ZDF, YLE and RAI. Her feature length documentary films “Wrong planet”, “Good morning Africa!” and “City of women, today” screened at film festivals. "Lost children. Thirty thousand minors missing" has been nominated for the Prix Europa 2017 and received a honorable mention at the Prix Media of the French "Enfance Majuscule". Her film "THE DEAL" premiered in at CPH:DOX in 2022.
