Darren Kerr

Darren Kerr has been the director and executive producer at 10th Street since the company opened in 2014, and has worked in the SA production industry for over 10 years. Since launching 10th Street, he has worked on successful projects such as the Origami Art of Savings campaign for European online banking service Raisin.com, the BIG THANKS YOUS FOR BIG HEARTS production for hair care brand Darling, and Rocomamas' award-winning #ElectionBurger campaign. His new documentary film MAP1MP1 premiered in 2022 in South Africa. Darren holds a BA in Dramatic Arts, majoring in Film & TV Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a husband and father, an avid sports fan, and an amateur footballer and boxer. He is also an active advocate for the environment and sustainable living.
