Alina Schäfers

Alina Schäfers completed her master’s degree in Film- and TV-Production at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and graduated with the short documentary A Place In the Sun which deals with the effects and remnants of German colonialism in Namibia. The film premiered at OFF Odense International Film Festival and was screened at various festivals, including Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. Alina also studied German Philology and Communication Studies and spent a semester in South Africa working in Johannesburg, where she trained at ZDF’s foreign studio. She has been working for several production companies over the last years and is currently working as a documentary producer at TIME PRINTS.
