Kaya Inan graduated after being an actor in Achtung, fertig, Charlie! (Mike Eschmann, 2003) his study in montage at the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg. Since then he has worked as an editor in Germany and Switzerland. Kaya Inan received numerous awards for his installation work, including the 2016 and 2017 Swiss Film Awards, Best Montage for Above And Below (2015), Cahier africain (Heidi Specogna, 2016) and the 2016 'Picture Art Cut Award Documentary' for Above And Below (Nicolas Steiner, 2015).
