For the Sudanese artist Ahmed Umar, coming out was only possible when he was living in exile in Norway. A delicate portrait of a migrant who campaigns for gay visibility and seeks new forms of expression for his Norwegian-Sudanese identity.

Ibrahim Mursal

Mursal has Somali parents, was born in Norway and grew up in Sudan. He studied oil and gas exploration technology there and took film courses at the Goethe-Institut in 2012. He has worked on twelve short films. THE ART OF SIN is his first feature film.
