CUBAN HAT pitch and workshops

Guest country Mexico – in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Mexico and DocsMx

At the public CUBAN HAT pitch three Mexican and three German film projects will be presented.

On the occasion of the German-Mexican year 2017, DOK.fest München together with the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsMX) and the Goethe-Institut Mexico has created the binational training programme DOCUNEXION MX-DE.

Every year DOCUNEXION announces international cooperations between festivals with the aim of supporting the active and long-term exchange of filmmakers and film projects.

The programme includes two workshops during the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsMX) in October 2016 and at DOK.fest München in May 2017.

Three directors and producers from Mexico and Germany have been selected. The attendees have the opportunity to develop their projects together with mentors from Mexico and Germany in workshops at Docs Mx and DOK.fest München and to present the results at the public CUBAN HAT pitch.

The submission is closed.
