WORKFLOW FOKUS STORAGE TECHNIK

Workshop

With Nino Leitner

Tue 12th May 2015
17.00
Kino 2, Free entry

In recent years, documentary film, along with the rest of the industry has changed drastically in the fields of production, distribution and technology. These new conditions have also brought about new possibilities for filmmakers to tell stories.

Nino Leitner, an internationally active cameraman and filmmaker with a particular passion for documentary, will present his workflow and will speak personally about his career. From the hour-long critical documentaries that he filmed during his studies about the UK’s ubiquitous camera surveillance to documenting the fall of the Berlin Wall with David Hasselhoff and science documentaries filmed throughout Europe.

Nino will speak about the niche that he has carved out for himself in a competitive market as a technically experienced cameraman who always takes advantages of new developments in camera technologies and the versatility and flexibility that are necessary when working on productions today more than ever.

This will be followed by Christoph Fries from MacConsult giving his response to the storage technology used by Nino Leitner.
