Johann Schilling

Grown up in a church context, Johann Schilling was able to realize his own theater and film projects at an early age. After graduating high school, he lived in the country of Georgia for a year, where he implemented and coordinated youth programs for a local NGO. Foreignness and the view on and from the people who seem to be invisible in the postmodern world are the main subjects of his artistic work, which he has been expanding and continuing since 2020 at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in directing class.
