Meryem Yavuz

Meryem Yavuz was born in Istanbul and studied cinema. The films she worked as a cinematographer or co-producer were screened at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale and Venice. In 2009, she was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus. She was accepted to the American Society of Cinematographers Vision Mentorship Program in 2020. She has also worked as an instructor between the years 2016 - 2020. In 2021, she founded Horovel Films with Erhan Arik to produce documentary films.
