Margit Lillak

Director MARGIT LILLAK graduated from the Estonian Academy of Art in 1999 and went to work as director of animation films. In 2002 she graduated from Royal Holloway College with MA in screenwriting. She directed several short documentaries. In 2012 a first feature-length documentary “40+2 weeks”. “The Circle” is her second feature-length film. She was awarded the best documentary prize for "The Circle" in 2020 by the Estonian Culture Endowment.
