Patience Nitumwesiga is an emerging filmmaker from Uganda. She was Researcher and Assistant Director, Somebody Clap For Me, (feature documentary, UG, Qatar, Brazil, UK, 2017), Writer and Director, Heaven Sounds Boring, (Short, 2020), Writer and Director, Communion (Short, 2018) - received Honourable mention in 2019 at Cape Verde’s Plateau - Festival Internacional de Cinema, Director, Keepers and Better Than Yellow, (Plays, Uganda National Theatre & 48 Hours in Harlem Festival, 2018), writer and 1st AD, Yat Madit (TV Series, Uganda, 2016), writer, multiple episodes, Love Makanika (Comedy Series, Uganda, 2015). She runs Mbaganire, an African folktales podcast.
