Pia Hellenthal

Pia Hellenthal is a filmmaker working in fiction and documentary. Her short films screened at international film festivals like Karlovy Vary and received prizes like the Prix H. R. Giger „Narcisse“ for best short. Her debut SEARCHING EVA, received the Gerd Ruge Scholarship from Filmstiftung NRW, premiered at this years Berlinale, Panorama, nominated for the Dokumentarfilmpreis and shortlisted for the Teddy Award. At the international Premiere at CPH:DOX the film received the Special Mention in the main competition.
