Elisabeth Hamberger

Head of film administration, programme selection, Head of DOK.tour

Born in Munich. After graduating from high school, studied Modern German Literature, Politics and Theatre Studies at the LMU Munich. During this time, internships and work in numerous theatre projects, including the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Bayerische Theaterakademie. 2006 internship in the editorial department "Aktuelle Kultur" of BR Fernsehen, followed by freelance work in this department until 2009. After graduating with a Master's degree, she studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg with a focus on "television journalism". On the road as a cultural journalist for the Berlin Theatertreffen 2010. Internship in the editorial department of the culture magazine "aspekte" (ZDF) 2011. Since graduating in 2013, freelance author and director for documentaries, documentaries and educational films.
