Isa Willinger

Isa Willinger is a director. She studied at the University of Television and Film Munich, where she is now a regular guest lecturer. Previously, she studied Slavic and North American Studies in Berlin, Prague, Moscow and New York. She deals with the effects of modernity on humans, artificial intelligence, social upheavals, gender and film perception. Her feature film FORT VON ALLEN SONNEN won several international awards, as well as the Starter Film Prize of the City of Munich. She is currently working on a feature film about humanoid robots and artificial intelligence. Isa also writes about film, as in her monograph on the director Kira Muratova.
