Industry experts* from all over Europe were gathering online during the first edition of DOK.fest Munich @home. examining the power of networks to address the challenges the documentary industry is facing. We wanted to find out what solidarity means for today’s film professionals and how we can collaborate to help our films reach their audiences.

In this discussion we want to focus on structures which support cross-border solidarity within the filmmakers‘ community. Our industry is characterised by shrinking budgets and poor employment conditions, self exploitation and also the exploitation of others. What can we do to overcome these conditions and prepare the ground for fair working conditions in our industry, in Europe and beyond?

Am 22. März 2021 gab der NDR, der LOVEMOBIL von Elke Lehrenkrauss mitproduziert hat, in einer Stellungnahme bekannt, dass der Film „über weite Strecken nicht authentische Szenen“ enthalte. Weiter hieß es: „Zentrale Protagonist*innen des Films sind nicht die, die sie vorgeben zu sein.“ Zum Zeitpunkt des Ateliergesprächs lagen uns diese Informationen noch nicht vor.
