ANNE FLIEGT
– ANNE VLIEGT (Netherlands 2010, Catherine van Campen, DOK.education). 11-year-old Anne, a cheerful pretty girl, tries every day to make sure people don't notice her tics. The neurological disorder Tourette's syndrome forces her to do this: she has to twist, twitch or even lick things. If she could manage to talk openly about it, it might make her life easier.

DANCING ABDULLAH
(Germany 2019, Marco Giacopuzzi, DOK.education). 10-year-old Abdullah loves "street dance". When he hears music, he has to dance. Dancing makes him think of his home country Syria and forget his worries. Now he has even qualified for the world championship.

Zum siebten Mal wird im Rahmen des DOK.fest München der Dokumentarfilmpreis für junge Menschen verliehen. Prämiert werden sechs Filme von jungen Filmemacher.innen, die individuelle Perspektiven auf das echte Leben zeigen und offen sind für das, was anders ist als das Eigene.
