Jonathan Bugiel

Production Manager DOK.forum

Jonathan Bugiel was born and raised in Berlin. After graduating he lived in Jerusalem, Rome and Bayreuth where he studied media sciences and ethnology with a focus on documentary in film, photography and games.

Continuing to approach the Alps, he worked as an editor for a Munich production company and joined the DOK.forum Perspectives in 2022.

Having finally arrived in the Alps, Bugiel is now also part of the current training cycle at the ZeLIG – School for Documentary Film, Television and New Media in Bolzano. In 2023 he is in charge of the DOK.digital – Award for New Narrative Formats at DOK.forum.
