Morgane Remter

Programmer, author, moderator

Since working on a video production for Aborigines in Alice Springs (Australia) in 1998, Morgane Remter has worked almost continuously for various television production companies and broadcasters (ZDF, Pro7, History Channel, BR). In June 2007, Morgane Remter graduated in Politics, Ethnology and Law, with a focus on visual anthropology and media. During her studies, Morgane Remter realised two ethnological documentaries. She also supervised a practical documentary film seminar at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Since 2010, she has been working on a long-term documentary about structural change in Giesing for the city of Munich, as a freelance writer as well as a lecturer in film history at the mhmk (Macromedia University of Media and Communication) and as a team assistant to Prof. Doris Dörrie's Chair of Creative Wiriting at the HFF in Munich.
In 2010 and 2011 she helped to set up the new media and industry platform DOK.forum for DOK.fest München. She is also active in the film selection committee of DOK.fest München, as an editor and moderator, and as a jury advisor.
