Eva Gemmer

Eva Gemmer is a filmmaker and writer whose work focusses on non-fictional storytelling. She was born in southern Bavaria in 1995 and studied cultural and political sciences in Hamburg and London. Alongside her studies, she completed a journalism degree and wrote for several newspaper publishers. Since 2019, she has been studying documentary filmmaking and television journalism at the University of Television and Film Munich. Her films have been screened and awarded at numerous filmfestivals. Currently she is working on a non-fictional short film as well as on a collaborative photo book project.
