Intern DOK.forum (m/f/d)
DOK.forum, the industry platform of the International Documentary Film Festival Munich (DOK.fest München), is the meeting place for the German-speaking and international documentary film industry and aims to promote socially relevant and artistically valuable documentary film in all its manifestations and stages of development.
The two programme segments of DOK.forum are closely intertwined:
- The DOK.forum Perspectives invites you to develop visions and impulses for the future of documentary film in conferences, workshops and networking events.
- As a co-production and ideas market, the DOK.forum Marketplace offers various pitch and networking formats for the further development and realisation of new documentary film projects.
We are looking for an intern to join our team for DOK.forum 2026 (8–12 May 2026) from mid-February to mid-May 2026 with the following scope:
- 16 February – 3 May 2026: 50%
- 4–12 May 2026: 100%
- 13–22 May 2026: 50%
Your tasks include:
- Organisation and assistance in the selection of projects for the DOK.talent Award
- Editorial work (website), database maintenance
- Collaboration on the marketplace catalogue
- Support with guest relations
- Organisational preparation of the forum events (pitchings, roundtable sessions, one-to-one meetings, talks)
- Support in the coordination of event procedures / volunteers and the implementation of the festival
Your profile:
- Experience in event organisation
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of the German-speaking and international documentary film industry is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of German available
- A high degree of independence, ability to work in a team, commitment and flexibility
