Where stories become reality – DOK.fest Munich is looking for you!
DOK.fest Munich is one of Europe's largest documentary film festivals. Every year, we screen around 110 creative, international feature-length documentaries from over 40 countries and welcome filmmakers from all over the world. In 2026, we will be celebrating our 41st edition – and you can be there live!
As a passionate (documentary) film fan, we offer you the chance to take an exciting look behind the scenes and support a dedicated team in organising the festival.
We present our film programme at various venues in the heart of Munich – and since 2020 also digitally with DOK.fest München @home. In addition, you can look forward to:
- DOK.forum, our industry platform,
- DOK.education, the educational programme for children and young people,
- and DOK.network Africa.
That's why we need you! Support us as a volunteer (m/f/d) at the 41st DOK.fest Munich from 06 to 17 May 2026 – and become part of an international festival family.
