Online: Schule des Sehens 2026

With the online cinema, the film education programme DOK.education enables school classes outside Munich to take a cultural trip to the film festival.

In the online cinema room, your school class meets real filmmakers and watches an age-appropriate film under supervision. Our accompanying material for schools ensures a lasting experience. After registration, every teacher can use our educational programme: in the classroom, in distance learning or as homework.

For special schools and German language classes, we offer the Schule des Sehens in simple language:
Our workshops are not just about watching films, but above all about discovering the creative tools that make films so powerful, such as dramaturgy, visual language and sound. We want to make this experience accessible to all pupils, whether at grammar school, vocational school or special school.
Kathi Seemann, Inclusive Projects DOK.education & DOK.fest München

The free online cinema rooms are open from 1st of May until 31st of July 2026.

The educational programme of Schule des Sehens is only available in German language.
