PRESIDENT

Denmark, Norway 2021 – Director: Camilla Nielsson – Original language: English – Subtitles: English – Length: 130 min.

After 37 years under Robert Mugabe’s rule, Zimbabwe’s population is crying out for one thing above all: change. The young opposition leader Nelson Chamisa becomes a beacon of hope yet the system of corruption and electoral fraud is deeply entrenched. Mind-boggling insights into the mechanisms of a sham democracy.

We present the German Premiere of the film.
