Whaling is a necessity for survival for the Chukchi people. Forgotten, and without support from the government in far away Moscow the inhabitants of the Arctic peninsula brave the harsh Siberian winter.

We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.

Biography

Maciej Cuske was born in 1972 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. After studying film in Warsaw, he worked on various productions that won awards at various international festivals.
