Lina is searching for the true past of her missing father. From the perspectives of her relatives who are scattered around the world, a complex picture of the Middle East conflict gradually emerges. An investigative documentary film and an intimate family history.

Biography

Lina Al Abed studied journalism and graduated with a documentary film about the Syrian author Mohamed Al-Maghout, which was broadcasted by Al-Jazeera in 2007. For her first short documentary NOOR AL HUDA she received the DOX-BOX Jury Prize for Best Syrian Documentary in 2010.
