Roger and Charles, two lumberjacks from Quebec in Canada, spend their last summer together in the forest. One is going to retire; the other is taking over the business. A contemplative film about a legacy and the path to a new future.

Biography

The Canadian filmmaker Charles-Émile Lafrance studied film studies at the University of Montréal. He works as an independent filmmaker and for various television productions. FOREST CODE is his directing debut.
