COPPER NOTES OF A DREAM

Syria: Malook and his friends rip copper wires from bombed out houses. The money will be used to organise a concert. In ruined parks the children philosophise about how their dreams have changed since the war.

We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.

 

 

Biography

The Iranian director Reza Farahmand has a degree from the Tehran School of Art and a degree in agricultural engineering. His main interest is documentary cinema and the filming of complex social and cultural contexts.
