An ode and a farewell. The acclaimed South American director Héctor Babenco (KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN) died in 2016 after a long illness. Bárbara Paz pays tribute to her husband in this intimate portrait and cinematic retrospective.

We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.

 

 

Biography

Bárbara Paz is a brazilian actress, director and producer. She graduated from Macunaíma Theatre School and Antunes Centre for Theatre Research. BABENCO: TELL ME WHEN I DIE is her first feature film as a director and won the Venezia Classici Award at the Venice Film Festival in 2019.
