A TUNNEL

The stationmaster in Zvare in Georgia is bracing himself for change. Soon the high-speed trains of the new Silk Road will race through the station built in 1890. Tunnels are being blasted through the mountains and whipping up a climate of fear.

We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.

 

 

Biographies

In 2008 Nino Orjonikidze and Vano Arsenishvili jointly founded the production company Artefact Production. Since then they have been developing, producing and marketing documentary films.

Nino Orjonikidze
After studying in Tbilisi and London, she worked as a TV journalist, producer and director for various Georgian media companies. She is also a lecturer for documentary film.

Vano Arsenishvili
Vano Arsenishvili studied animation in Tbilisi and Vienna. From 2004 to 2008 he manly worked for television productions. He teaches documentary film at various Georgian universities.
