Since she was eleven years old, Maria has been planting and harvesting potatoes in Lebanon and spending the winter months in her homeland of Syria. Maria dreams of having her own family – but first there is the revolution, then the war and the place where she works becomes a refugee camp. Noura Kevorkian
Kevorkian is a Lebanese-Syrian filmmaker. She made her debut with the award-winning short film VEILS UNCOVERED, followed by the historical documentary ANJAR and the drama-documentary hybrid 23 KILOMETRES.
