The DOK.edit Award – presented by Adobe will be awarded for the second time at DOK.fest 2022. We consider editing an essential part in the creative process of making a narrative documentary. This session is a public conversation between the Jury of DOK.edit and the editors of the nominated films, who will provide insights into their creative process.

Robin Hunzinger

French filmmaker Robin Hunzinger studied history and art history in Strasbourg and cinematography in Jussieu. Since then, he has been dealing with themes such as history, war, memory in documentary works. Hunzinger sees himself as a "home filmmaker": he writes, reads, shoots, scans and implements all steps of film production, mostly single-handedly, in his studio in the Vosges.
