A warm invitation to the short film presentation “I see something you don't see: Cultural venues in Munich”

Is culture for everyone? How much should cultural offerings cost? And why are art and culture important for the city of Munich? With these questions in mind, participants in the inclusive documentary film workshop organized by DOK.education portrayed their favorite cultural venues in Munich.

In the workshop, young people with and without disabilities learned filmmaking skills such as image composition, interviewing, and editing techniques. This resulted in four documentary films featuring exciting interview partners at the Pinakothek der Moderne, the Boxwerk boxing studio, the Mathäser Filmpalast cinema, and the Münchner Symphoniker .

These documentaries will premiere on the big screen at the evening event for KURZFILMTAG! The filmmakers cordially invite you to the JFF Medienzentrum München. Moderated film discussions with the young directors will accompany the film evening. We look forward to lively exchanges with the audience over cookies and punch!
