For more than three years, the French street artist JR has been working with prisoners and staff in a high-security prison in California. Together they create large-scale artworks that open up new horizons for the prisoners, some of whom are serving life sentences. Biography
JR is an award-winning French photographer and street artist. He usually exhibits his monumental collages in public places, attracting the attention of those who don’t normally go to museums.
