Two Palestinian brothers are pursued by Israeli soldiers across a rooftop above the old town of Hebron. A boy monitors the violence on the streets with his camera. Three children, three perspectives on a world where conflict escalates daily.

Esther Hertog
The Dutchwoman lived many years of her childhood and youth in Israel. In 2008 she completed her studies in visual anthropology at the University of Manchester and subsequently worked as a documentary film director and cinematographer, among other things. Following SOLDIER ON THE ROOF (2012), SKIES ABOVE HEBRON is her second collaboration with co-director Paul King.
