In the 1970s the “Komúna” tried to live in freedom in the underground of the ČSSR. When the secret police set its sights on the group, some of the members changed sides. 50 years later a former member decides to reunite the betrayers with the betrayed.

Jakub Julény

Julény completed his documentary film studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in 2011. In addition to his work as a journalist and photographer, he worked on short documentaries and TV series. KOMÚNA is his feature film debut.
