When creationism became part of the school curriculum in Kansas, the Pastafari religion was born. Dressed as pirates or wearing colanders as religious head coverings, the devotees go to court to defend their rights. With intelligence and humour they have the political status of religion at their disposal.
We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.
Biography
Michael Arthur made his first short film for YouTube during an evening course. Surprisingly the project developed into a feature film and was broadcast on television. When his wife got a job in Holland, he moved with her under the condition that he would be allowed to make another film: I, PASTAFARI: A FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER STORY.
