"The right angle is evil." This could be constructionist Ulrich Müther's credo. His roofs sore up into the sky, pointy and bold. His buildings have names like "Teapot", "Maple Leaf" or "Sea rose". With his bold concrete shell constructions from Warnemünde to Tripolis he had great influence on the avant-garde of architecture in Eastern Germany.

Today Ulrich Müther has his own building company. He and his co-workers tell about their very own trail of stones: the feeling of a new beginning in the sixties, building in foreign countries, the changes after the collapse of the Soviet Union and their life today.

The film is an architectural journey through the history of former Eastern Germany, which tells about the effects the uniting of two different ideologies has.
