AM ENDE DER WELT UND DOCH MITTENDRIN
Deutschland 2003 – Director: Stefanie Baumann – Original language: German – Length: 45 min.
The little farm „Wofahanslhof" is located in the middle of nowhere: short of the Czech border in the Oberpfalz region. Once a day, the milk-float comes, always on the same route and the same time. This sets the frame for Resi Altmann's daily routine. Resi runs the farm together with her son Anton. The farmer talks about her everyday life and about the village Eschlkam, which is according to her „the centre of the world". Taking Resi Altmann as a starting point, the film pictures the relationships between different inhabitants of Eschlkam who all have one thing in common: They love their home town and insist on it being the only veritable place to live.
