For school classes: Culture day film
In order to strengthen cultural education in Bavarian schools, the Bavarian State Parliament has decided to introduce a culture day in schools. The state government also attaches great importance to cultural education. It is a driving force for social development, creates new learning cultures and promotes exchange and understanding of different attitudes and views.
Every year between July and March, the team at DOK.education invites school classes to shape this cultural day in the field of film. Come to the cinema and let us, as experts, take care of your pupils' film education!

Biography
August Pflugfelder was born in Prien am Chiemsee. He first studied photography at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and then documentary filmmaking at the HFF in Munich. His documentary films have been featured at numerous festivals.
