Ingeborg Degener
Managing Director (Creative Europe Desk Muenchen GmbH)

Managing Director of Creative Europe Desk Munich, an information office of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme of the European Union. Creative Europe MEDIA offers support to the European audiovisual sector across the value chain, from training and development to production, distribution and exhibition. Creative Europe Desks in all member states of the programme inform about these funding opportunities and give advice on preparing applications for funding.

Natalia Imaz
(DAE - Documentary Association of Europe)

Natalia Imaz is a Germany-based documentary producer with over 25 years of experience. Through parabellum film, she produces internationally acclaimed documentaries, with a focus on women directors, emerging voices, and stories shaped by migration, identity, memory, and social change. At this year’s festival, she participates both as a producer—with The Woman Who Poked the Leopard and Niñas Escarlata in the programme—and as an executive board member of DAE – Documentary Association of Europe, a network of 700+ professionals that shares resources, fosters collaboration and provides advocacy across the documentary sector. She is available for consultations on production and DAE’s work and network, and open to discussing potential collaborations.

Nadja Smith
Funding Manager (FFA)

Nadja Smith is a Funding Manager with the German Federal Film Board (FFA), responsible for the jury-based film funding with a focus on feature-length films in project development and production. Before joining the FFA, she worked as a Producer focusing on documentaries for theatrical release and international co-productions.

Julia Teichmann
Head of Documentary (German Films)

Julia Teichmann is serving as Head of Documentary at German Films and additionally supervises the Marketing & Subtitling Support Documentary. She has worked as a curator and is still working as a moderator, among others for DOK.fest München, the Festival of German Cinema in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg. She was also a film critic for such publications as Berliner Zeitung and Filmdienst, and regularly served on juries at national and international film festivals.
