The American-British screenwriter, director, and producer lives and works in London. He runs the Howard Brookner Legacy Project and produced the restoration of BURROUGHS: THE MOVIE.

The Portuguese director and producer has (co-)produced over 150 films, for which he has won various awards, including a Golden Lion in Venice and a Golden Leopard in Locarno.
